Good Shepherd LWML has raised funds for mission projects both at home and world-wide. Some examples of Iowa District West LWML projects that we support are:

  • Financial aid for Iowa District West women studying for full-time church work.

  • Lutheran Family Service Pastoral Counselor-in-Training.

  • West Okoboji/Milford New Mission.

  • Lutherans for Life of Iowa.

  • Alaskan Missions VBS.

  • Trinity Lutheran Interparish School at Council Bluffs.

  • Clive Mission Lutheran Elementary School.

  • Mt. Olive Lutheran School, Des Moines, Technology Update.

  • VBS Day Camps.

  • Iowa District West - God's Word to the Japanese.

  • Des Moines East Circuit Lutheran Mission, Easter Lake/Pleasant Hill.
